dagzo ("we") respects the privacy of users of the Android application "TimePhoto" ("the App") and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the App.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect any personal information.
The App does not communicate over the internet. All data is stored only on the user's device. No data is ever sent to an external server.
The data the App handles on the device is as follows.
1.1 Data created by the user
- Record information (record title, aspect ratio, creation date, and so on)
- Photos taken with the App (stored on the device as JPEG)
- Generated time-lapse videos (stored on the device as MP4)
- Comparison images (stored on the device)
- Guide images (images the user sets to help line up the framing)
1.2 App settings
- Shooting reminder settings (frequency, time, and so on)
- Video generation settings (frame rate, resolution, and so on)
- Display settings
2. Why We Use Device Permissions
The App uses the following device permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose.

Importing photos from your gallery, and saving videos and comparison images to it, rely on Android's photo picker and media store. Neither needs a photo or video access permission. The App reads only the photos you pick, and saves only the files it created itself.
3. Data Storage
- All data is stored only on the user's device.
- Photos and videos are stored in the App's own storage area.
- Records and photo information are stored in a local database (Room).
- App settings are stored in DataStore.
4. Data Sharing
The App does not send data to any external server. However, if the user performs the following actions, data may be shared with other apps through the operating system.
- Sharing a generated video with another app
- Sharing a comparison image with another app
Sharing happens only through the user's explicit action. Data is never shared automatically.
5. Deleting Data
- Deleting a record permanently removes all of its photos, videos, guide images, and settings from the device.
- Uninstalling the App removes all data the App has stored from the device.
6. Third-Party Services
The App does not use any third-party service that collects data, such as analytics or advertising networks.
7. Children's Privacy
Because the App does not collect personal information, there is no particular risk to children's privacy. That said, the App uses the camera, so we recommend that children use it under the supervision of a guardian.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy as needed. If we do, we will give notice in the App or on the app store. If you continue to use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Privacy Policy.
